Hello everyone, I am Trinity Daddy. I am thrilled to announce that School Map SG officially launched on December 12, 2024.
I am also delighted to share with you the inspiration and planning behind this idea.
My wife and I came to Singapore in 2019 when my son had just turned one year old. After settling in Singapore, we were blessed with the birth of two lovely daughters, which is how the name “Trinity Daddy” came about.
As our children grew older, choosing the right school became our top priority. We started to learn about Singapore’s education system, the school admission process, and prepared for their future schooling.
In Singapore, the distance from home to school plays a crucial role in the school admission process. As a result, we began searching for a new house. Every time we went house viewing, we would ask the estate agents about the schools in the area. To make it easier to reference, I marked all the primary schools on Google Maps manually.
As we gained a deeper understanding of the admission process, the increasing number of parameters and variables made maintaining and using the map more difficult. That’s when I decided to create a tool to display this data.
I hope that through this tool, parents will have a clearer understanding of Singapore’s education system and the various milestones their children may go through in the future. I will also develop more new maps and tools to help parents make informed decisions.
